Good to know
- SAFETY: Infants' ibuprofen (Infants' Motrin, Infants' Advil and store-brand infants' drops) is 50 mg per 1.25 mL — twice as concentrated as children's ibuprofen (100 mg per 5 mL). They are not interchangeable: never give an infants' dose volume of the children's liquid or a children's dose volume of the infants' drops, and use only the device packaged with each bottle. Infants' ibuprofen is not listed in this group.
- Children's Motrin and Children's Advil are the same drug at the same concentration: ibuprofen 100 mg per 5 mL.
- Unlike liquid acetaminophen, infants' and children's ibuprofen are still sold in two different concentrations — always check the mg and mL on the front of the box.
- Children's Motrin Chewables are 100 mg per tablet — a different form, not listed in this group.
