Good to know
- Bayer is a brand on several different products: Bayer Genuine Aspirin (325 mg, this group), Bayer Aspirin Regimen (81 mg low dose), and Bayer Back & Body Extra Strength, which is aspirin 500 mg plus caffeine.
- Enteric-coated ("safety coated") 325 mg aspirin, such as Ecotrin Regular Strength and store-brand EC aspirin, has a coating that delays absorption — the same dose, but not listed in this group.
- Regular-strength aspirin is four times the dose of low-dose (81 mg) aspirin; the low-dose label says to start or stop a daily aspirin regimen only on a doctor's advice.
